Hello and welcome to Three Glaciers Retreat, this is the smallest and most private camp we have in Antarctica.

We have groups, film productions, anyone who would like to have a more private and more comfortable stay here with us.
So welcome, I’m going to show you around. We will start with one of our guest tents.
GUEST TENTS
This is a beautiful porch in nice weather. Come in- follow me, they look like this.
We have different configurations; we have king beds and twin beds. Double for couples or singles, and these rooms have twins, 2 beds to share.
Depending on the year, we have different configurations in the tent, some years we have 8-10 tents, with a max capacity of 20 people at once. If your group is larger than that, we can accommodate. We had groups of up to 30 people in this beautiful private camp.
BATHROOM FACILITIES
We have the main tent here, to your right, you’ll find the shower block, and to your left, the toilets.
Let me show you how the toilet works. This facility is a unisex toilet, where the solids and the liquids are separated. We take all the waste back to Chile for disposal. We leave absolutely no trace on the continent by the time we leave. So, we kindly ask our guests to separate solids from liquids, which is a bit challenging in the beginning, but not impossible. There is no running water in these facilities, so we use hand sanitizer.
SHOWER
Ok now let’s go, I’m going to show you how the shower works. This is a very beautiful and comfortable building, especially for this camp.
It comes with two shower blocks that are very comfortable. You have your privacy, and it works very simply. You get this bucket down here, fill it up with water, normally it’s pretty hot, so if we need to cool it down, we add some snow to it, until you get the right temperature.
Once you have it, you put the hose in, under the sink, you close the door, make yourself comfortable, and turn the pump on. Tada! And simple as that! One bucket of this is about a 4-minute shower. And we kindly ask our guests not to shower every day. Water is one of our most expensive and difficult resources here in Antarctica. But don’t let many days pass, remember we leave together!
MAIN TENT
Now I will show you our main tent, where most of our meals happen, and there’s a special cozy area to relax and enjoy. Come on in – let me show you!
This is the living room, with a cozy area with a nice sofa and TV, we also have a table for board games.
And this is where we have all the meals of the day. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will usually happen here unless we go out on an excursion, and we take food to-go. We have a 24-hour snack bar, we have a really nice bar selection, a great selection of wines, and also a coffee area.
The coffee area is open 24/7 where you will find coffee, tea, and fresh water at all times of the day.
So there are plenty of possibilities for things to do here at Three Glaciers Retreat. Oh look at this – this is Antarctica, and we are somewhere here!
CAMP GROUNDS
Alright now I want to show you a bit of outside. You will see a chain of mountains over there. To the left, the Schanz glacier, to the right the Schneider, and to the back is the Driscoll glacier.
Thats why we call it Three Glaciers Retreat. Behind me we have the Skiway.
Around the Skiway we have a 5-mile (3 km) that’s perfectly suitable for running, walking, or even to go one bicycle trip. We have these beautiful fat tire bikes that are brand new and work surprisingly well in the snow.
We have a nice, small hill on the other side of camp. Up there we can go skiing at any time of the day. Remember, there is 24 hours of daylight, so even in the middle of the night, we can go out skiing if that’s what you want.
Otherwise, we have a nice bunch of vehicles – snowmobiles, or tuckers – big and small – that can go pretty much anywhere on the continent. And we bring as many vehicles as we need depending on the size of your group.
This was a short camp introduction to Three Glaciers Retreat, my name is Gerardo, also known as Gordo, and I will be happy to welcome you. Don’t miss this opportunity to live an experience of a lifetime. Welcome!
