Just a short flight from Mount Vinson, Antarctica’s highest peak, and a mere 600 nautical miles (1,138 km) from the South Pole, Union Glacier is perfectly positioned for adventure. From our medical facilities, meteorology station, mechanical services bays, equipment stores, polar library, gift shop, and more – you can experience the full hum of what it takes to operate a thriving Antarctic logistics center.
