Our office attire may be casual but our commitment to service and attention to detail are serious. Our Salt Lake team works year-round behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly during the Antarctic season. We visit Antarctica regularly and can provide first-hand knowledge on the experiences and services we offer. We’re here to answer all your questions and will help design an experience or develop a logistical package that meets all of your needs.

Outside of work, Debra’s roots trace back to Utah, though she later moved to Big Sky, Montana in search of deeper snow and bigger mountains. Her happy place is Lake Powell, where red rock walls, deep blue skies, and blue‑green water make every trip unforgettable. She brings the same drive to adventure that she brings to her work, from bike races to powder days, and to life with her four dogs, a pack that earned her the family nickname “Crazy Dog Lady.”

Miri has a strong background in tourism, customer service, and administrative coordination, with previous experience in tourism marketing and community engagement. Always drawn to connecting people with meaningful places and experiences, she enjoys this part of the job immensely, especially after having visited the South Pole herself in January 2025.
Her path into this unique polar world has been rooted in a variety of outdoor work and a bachelor's degree in Sustainable Tourism from the University of Utah. She spent five seasons as a river guide on the Snake River in Wyoming, a year working on a backcountry trail crew in the state of Maine and later helped run coastal education programs in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Outside of work, Miri volunteers with the local aquarium and symphony and enjoys hiking, camping, playing Dungeons & Dragons, obsessing over her cat Bear and is almost single-handedly keeping movie theaters in business.
